The Adventures of the Ndoyé Family – Volume 1: A Birth Certificate for Noella

This comic book series, developed by UNICEF CAR with funding from Education Cannot Wait (ECW), raises awareness of children’s rights through engaging storytelling.

This first comic in the series tells the story of Noella, whose dream of continuing school is put at risk because she has no birth certificate. With the support of her friends and a dedicated community facilitator, her journey shows how birth registration is the path to every child’s rights – from the right to an identity to the right to education. The story highlights the power of communities working together to break down barriers and ensure every child can learn, thrive, and build a brighter future.
