Virtual Mission to Bangladesh

Girl writing on board

Education Cannot Wait’s US$50 million investment portfolio in Bangladesh has already reached more than 325,000 children with quality, holistic education. On this virtual mission, ECW and its strategic partners explore the lifesaving impact of ECW’s humanitarian investments in Bangladesh, home to the world’s largest refugee camp. Over 1 million Rohingya refugees are now living in the camps, approximately half of them are children. ECW’s current delivery partners in Bangladesh include the International Rescue Committee, Plan International, Save the Children, UNESCO, UNHCR and UNICEF.

ECW’s programming in Bangladesh benefits from earmarked contributions from Global Affairs Canada (CAD$24 Million) and the Porticus Foundation (US$600,000), along with the overall pooled funding contributions from ECW’s strategic donor partners.
