NORRAG Policy Insights: Education and the Humanitarian–Development–Peace Nexus at 10 examines how the characteristics of the Humanitarian–Development–Peace (HDP) Nexus can inform – and have informed – education programming. Bringing together more than 40 contributions from over 100 authors from diverse geographic regions, half of whom are from the Global South, this publication offers rich perspectives on the successes and challenges of implementing a Nexus approach.
The publication takes into account the impact of drastic cuts to international aid in 2025. It also aligns with the new directions set by the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) – which supports quality, safe, and relevant education for all people affected by emergencies – on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.
Speakers will discuss the main themes addressed in the publication. They will share their key reflections on a decade of practice and propose a roadmap towards a more coherent, inclusive and sustainable future for education in crisis situations and beyond.
