The "Women Who Teach: Recruiting and Retaining Female Teachers in Crisis Settings" brief was developed to support the dissemination of key messages in Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies' "Mind the Gap 3: Equity and Inclusion in and through Girls’ Education in Crisis". The brief provides an overview of evidence and gaps in the recruitment and retention of female teachers in emergency contexts and recommends actions for supporting female teachers’ wellbeing and professional development.
