Cover of NORRAG publication

This new Policy Insights collection examines how the Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus has informed education programming across diverse geographies over the past decade, offering rich perspectives on both the successes and the ongoing challenges of putting a nexus approach into practice – particularly in the context of the dramatic funding cuts of 2025. Bringing together over 40 contributions from more than 100 authors, half from the Global South, the publication highlights the need for locally led, contextually grounded solutions supported by flexible, coherent financing and stronger coordination across actors.

ECW contributed two articles drawing on lessons from ECW-supported programmes, underscoring that strengthened coherence in both financing and programming across the Triple Nexus is essential to protect and expand learning opportunities for crisis-affected children and adolescents.
